- What is a vault?
- A vault is your shelf of games. Add what you own, share the link with the table, and use Help me pick when you need a tonight recommendation.
- How does sharing work?
- Every vault has a link. Unlisted vaults are link-only. Public vaults can also show up on Explore. You control that in vault settings.
- How do I find my vaults later?
- When you create a vault, you can add an optional email. Later open Find my vaults, enter that email, and open any matching vault. Use the edit password if you need to change it.
- What does Help me pick do?
- It ranks games from a vault (or the full catalog on /play) using filters like players, time, complexity, and genre. No filter selected means any is fine. Use Another pick to reshuffle.
- Can I export a vault for offline use?
- Yes. Open any vault with games, tap Export (or Export from share), then Print / Save PDF, save a checklist photo, or download a CSV.
- What are locks?
- You can lock a vault with an edit password so only people who unlock it can edit. Anyone with the link can still view and use Help me pick.
- Why does it say beta?
- BoardGames.Guru is early. Features and copy will keep moving. Thanks for trying it while we sharpen the edges.
